Fees

  • Fees begin at $125 for individual therapy and scale up to $200 for extended family therapy sessions.

  • If a cancellation of services occurs within 24 hours of an appointment, the client will be assessed the full cost of the session.

  • Some Sliding scale pay is available. Contact me for more information.

Insurance

Now accepting several Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, Oscar, Optum, United Health Care, and Medicare. Please contact me for more information.

In the near future, Finer Path will be accepting additional insurance policies. Check back often to see if we service your provider.

Alternatively, Finer Path can provide you with a 'Superbill' (also known as an 'Insurance Reimbursement Receipt') following each session for you to file with your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you have Out of Network Behavioral Health Benefits to see if this option will work for you. Finer Path Counseling will be considered an out of network provider for all other insurances.

FAQ

What is my co-pay?

Every co-pay is dependent on each insurance plan. Clients are advised to contact their insurance providers to obtain their co-pay fees. The contact number for your insurance provider is generally located on the back of your insurance card. Please note that the client is responsible for obtaining all information on their co-pay. 

Do you offer face-to-face therapy?

Face to face sessions are not currently offered. 

Who do I contact in an emergency?

  • In the event of an emergency, dial 911. 

  • If you are having suicidal thoughts, call the suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255 or dial 911.

When do I pay for my session?

Payment is due ahead of your session. All major credit cards are accepted and kept on file. Clients who cancel their appointment within 24 hours will be charged for a full session.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes. There are several sliding scale appointments available based on need. Please contact me today to inquire about availability.

What does out-of-network mean?

As an out of network provider, clients are billed for the hourly session rate, which can then be sent to your insurance for reimbursement, per your insurance company's policy. Please consult your insurance card or call them for more information on reimbursement policies.

Can I book recurring sessions?

Of course! At the end of every session, clients have the option to re-book. Your card on file will be charged for the appointment 24 hours ahead of your scheduled session. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours are non-refundable.
